Awarded as “highly commended” by the 2024 Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, this is my most sought-after and asked-about print. The ermine was climbing more than twenty feet above the ground when I took this picture, zipping up and down the crevices in the rock face with ease. It was easily the most unique wildlife experience of my life, and one I expect I will never see again.
